Stage 12 -Sebree KY, 71mi (114km)

Here I am back again online after two days of low or no reception in the Kentucky countryside.

It was a sunny day with some hills to be climbed.

I left the Motel at 7.30AM  and after 40minutes I passed the English couple Mark and Julie. And about 2 hours later I caught up with Greg from NYC again, he had left very early this morning and the two of us rode together towards Utica. Greg stopped for a quick lunch and I decided to keep riding in order to keep my muscles warm. After 114km, I reached Sebree at mid-afternoon and I was welcomed at the church by Violet and her grandson Jason.

20 minutes later Greg joined us and Violet showed us around and offered to feed us at around 7pm. We had struck lucky again. The two of us shared a mountain of food with Bob and Violet and their guest Beth. I asked if there was a way to make a donation to support their work. The answer was no but thank you. It has been a very relaxing afternoon and unforgettable entertaining evening. I big THANK YOU to Violet and Bob!
