I stopped at the gas station in Riggins for breakfast where I enjoyed a fresh supersize donut and a coffee. My riding today continued on Hwy 95 and I was glad that traffic was not as busy as expected. Immediately after Riggins the climbing started, 35mi uphill and the grade was very gradual. 
I reached New Meadow after 2hrs 45min, and I was hungry. I stopped at a cafe and had a very delicious chicken sandwich before. New Meadow is also the place where the 45th parallel north circle of latitude crosses.
It was my last day riding in the high meadows of Idaho as tomorrow I will pass the state line of Oregon.
